The Wet Bar

The bar is a "hidden bar" which can be opened when one desires.  We will not tell you where it is.  You must come for a visit to find out.

This is the view from the side entrance.

Inside of Bar

There are two entrances, one to the front which will be where guests "order" their drinks, the other one goes behind the bar to make the drinks.  This can be a bar for liquor, juice, or a coke bar.  The owner's preference.

Door to Back of Bar

This door goes to the "back" of the bar where one would "mix" the drinks.  The picture on the left shows the door as purchased, unfinished.  The picture on the right shows the door as it is now.  It is an absolutely beautiful antique French art nouveau door.  It came from an old church in Mexico.  A stunning antique piece that would complement any area.  The stained glass "secrets" what's beyond.

Why?  Both for fun and, if it holds liquids which you might not want everyone to see, it can be hidden.  If you have friends or family that it would offend, you simply keep it closed.  When friends that do drink are in attendance, the doors can be swung open wide.  What will they see?

This gorgeous bar, without the top, is what they will see.  Made of beautiful cherry wood, this is a delight to the eye.  The designer chose to remove the top.  The owner wanted to hang glass racks from the ceiling and she did not want the beautiful light fixture and crown molding hidden.  The ceiling is done with beautiful crown molding and, we think you'll agree, the way it is designed is absolutely exquisite.

A blue vessel sink adorns the back of the bar.

Bar Light

An exquisite vintage light fixture, also blue, hangs from the ceiling

Intricate crown molding, stained to match the bar, surrounds the ceiling.  Small, unobtrusive, and very elegant.  A truly delightful addition to this floor.

Thirsty anyone?
