Summer Kitchen
Just off the Great Room is a covered porch the designer
calls the Summer Kitchen.
| A delightful
area, it rests between the Great Room and the pool area. |
 |
Have you ever had guests and they sit outside enjoying
the beautiful weather and you're stuck in the kitchen? That does not have
to happen here in Butterfly Springs. With the Summer Kitchen, you can be
outside with them while preparing the meal. This little area has just
about everything for great family fun or for entertaining guests. And it's
located in the perfect place for enjoying the picturesque view of the land
and lake. Being close to the pool makes it ideal for keeping an eye on the
younger ones enjoying the water while the adults take it easy in the shade.
Everything you need for outdoor cooking is situated
here.
 |
You have a pass through window that
makes it easy to "pass through" the items you need from the kitchen.
The inside kitchen window looks out onto this area. The window
is a slider and a shelf has been built underneath. This makes
it handy to pass things in and out of the kitchen.
|
Now for the cooking end. There is a sink, a small
refrigerator, a real tipanyaka grill, a smoker, and a large corner gas grill. The
gas grill
has a regular "stove" burner attached for preparing foods not cooked on the grill.
It also has two built in drawers and storage underneath.

Grill Area |
Add some old cabinets and maybe an antique wet sink,
such as the owner as done, and you have a great place for family fun and
entertaining.
|
 |
Eye-catching ceiling fans glide overhead,
stirring the air and giving a gentle breeze when needed. |
This charming outdoor kitchen offers both bright lights
and/or low lights.

Light over Sink |
Besides the light on
the fans, there are two other vintage, hanging chandeliers located
here. And to make it easy for the chef at the grill, there is
a florescent light put above the grill. |

Light in Center |
After dinner it's time to relax. What a perfect
place to do just that.
| Now is the time to turn the fans on low
for a soft breeze. Light the old New Orleans gas lamps and
enjoy the night sounds as you gaze at the stars and moon. So
romantic! So beautiful! So relaxing..... |

Great Dinner...Great Atmosphere...Great Fun...Great Relaxation!
